Sunrise Hyderabad will be up against the mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore, who had an amazing
start of their campaign after they beat Pune Warriors in the opening match.
RCB too defeated Mumbai Indians in a thrilling encounter which they won by just 2 runs. So both the
teams will be high on confidence and will look to keep up the momentum. But the key factor which
separates these teams is the Chris Gayle. His 92 off 58 balls against Mumbai Indians helped RCB to
post a decent total on the board. Gayle has been a revelation for RCB in the last two seasons. But
their biggest concern would be the middle order and newly appointed captain Kohli will like to have
a look at it. Dilshan and Kohli will hope to change things after their failure against Mumbai.
Daniel Christian who failed with ball is likely to be replaced by another Australian Andrew McDonal
or Moses Henriques. Vinay Kumar and Jaydev Unadkat to retain their places and will share the new
ball. Vinay will be high on confidence after his last crucial which he bowled against Mumbai and won
it. Muttiah Murlitharan will be leading the spin attack, supported by Murli Kartick.
Sunrise Hyderabad being the underdogs of IPL 6 has the weakest batting link. They will sorely miss
the service of Dhawan and J P Duminy due to injury and Aksath reddy and Ravi Teja are still finding
their form. Parthiv Patel who has been with Hyderabad for a long time will be the key along with
Kumar Sangakkara. Thisara Perara’s short and useful contribution against Pune proved worthy.
Hyderabad would be hoping that Cameron White will find his form and give a sustenance in the
middle order.
