Prediction: Kolkata (65%) predicted to defeat Perth (35%) (Match scorecard)

Both Kolkata Knight Riders and Perth Scorchers have been undefeated in this tournament so far. However, Kolkata Knight Riders have won 11 matches in a row, going back to the Indian Premier League, plus they also have the advantage of playing in India, so they are the heavy favorites to win this match. The Knight Riders have the best bowler of the tournament in Sunil Narine, and Perth Scorchers will need to decode him if they are to have any chances of winning this match.

One interesting thing to note about the venue of this match, Hyderabad, is that seven Twenty20 matches have been played on this ground so far, and all seven of them have been won by the team chasing second. This is a high scoring venue with an average first innings score of 165, and offers very little to the bowlers. Even a target of 200+ is not safe at this ground. Therefore, the outcome of the match may as well be decided by which team bats second here. Expect this match to be a high scoring encounter involving a cracking chase, but given their superior bowling the Knight Riders should still come out on top.
