Prediction: Hyderabad (53%) expected to defeat Delhi (47%) (Match scorecard)

Very quietly, Bhuvneshvar Kumar is putting up great numbers in this IPL season. He already has the most number of wickets at a sparkling economy rate of 5.45. Together with Dale Steyn, he forms a fearsome bowling duo for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Their solid fast bowling is one of the reasons why they are still in contention for the play-offs, despite their batting not performing up to its reputation. While David Warner and Aaron Finch have been decent with the bat, the Indian batsmen haven't been up to mark. Sunrisers will be hoping that their captain Shikhar Dhawan catches fire soon, for if they are to make further progress in the tournament, they really need their captain and their batting lineup to start scoring more runs.

The Delhi Daredevils season has once again been an unmitigated disaster. It is their bowling that has been the primary culprit: they have the highest team bowling average at 46.1, way behind the second worst team, Mumbai Indians, who are at 31.9. Kevin Pietersen has been fairly unimaginative as a captain, and he should seriously think if it is better for the team for him to sit out. Someone like Ross Taylor or even Jimmy Neesham can be a better contributor to the team. For now though Delhi Daredevils are stuck at the bottom of the table and it is unlikely that they are going to come out of it anytime soon.
