These 5 overs can be seen as the Turning Point of this game. After the end of these overs, the win probability, according to our model, reached 1 indicating that no team had ever lost a game after being in such a position.
Star performer : Adam Gilchrist, with a WPA score of 0.533 . He was the key player during the overs which turned the game towards Punjab. He also scored a century.

Titillation index : 1. After Gilchrist’s performance in the first innings, the only thing that one could look forward to was an innings from Gayle. It did not happen, and as indicated by the Win Probability graph, RCB was never in any sort of a decent chase.
