For those of you who missed the game, here is a recap of the Kochi Tuskers Kerala v Rajasthan Royals game See here.

Turning point : As can be seen from the graph, 9th over of the first innings can be seen as a turning point of the game. RR had recovered from their bad start and were trying to rebuild their innings when a couple of quick wickets brought them down again. After this there was a steady decline in the win probability as they kept losing more wickets. At the end the win probability reduced to almost zero.

Star performer : Brad Hodge, with a WPA score of 0.267. He was instrumental during the overs 9-14 when he took a wicket in every over he bowled leading to a steady decline of the RR. Deservingly, he also got the man of the match.

Titillation index : 1. After Hodge’s performance in the first innings, the only interesting thing that was left was to see how quickly Kochi can get the runs. They did it in style by getting the runs at a runrate of 14 thanks to some crazy hitting by McCullum. Overall, it was not a very interesting game as Kochi was dominating all the time.
