The most valuable player as per our ranking methodology comes out to be Robin Uthappa, whose performance was worth around $634K (he was purchased for $833K during this year’s IPL player auction). The best bargain of this season? Karanveer Singh of Kings XI Punjab was purchased for just $16K, but his performance was worth almost $357K this season. The biggest bust of the season was Dinesh Karthik, to whom Delhi Daredevils paid more than $2 MM this season, but whose performance was actually in negative $162K.
